A few days ago, I was experimenting in Figma with vector designs built from an isometric cube (a regular hexagon whose edges meet in the center, forming a cube, lol). And the ones that caught my eye the most, the more abstract ones too, were these:
They’re really nice, although generic. The second one looks like the Ubuntu or Unity logo, and the last one is much more forgettable.
And at this point
This is where most of the people I’ve asked didn’t notice the third design:
For many (everyone I’ve asked), it’s just an isometric cube with a Y-shaped outline.
But after looking at it for a while, I realized it looks like a crotch, a female pelvis, but very abstract.
Now do you see it? I swear this design came about by accident, even though it might not seem like it. Besides, the fact that I discovered its underlying meaning makes me either very creative or very suspicious. But I don’t care; nobody can avoid being suspicious, you just have to control what you say.
And that’s why I used it for my new UI library for Roblox (in progress): PrettyUI
Hahaha, I’m such a genius when it comes to naming and logos for my products.
